Created by Maya and Lara Hammoud, the Perception Foundation is a youth led nonprofit focused on neurodiversity, mental health, and inclusive support systems. The organization builds cost effective, sensory friendly spaces in public areas for neurodiverse individuals. Its mission advances support, accessibility, and advocacy for those who experience the world differently.
Perception Foundation
A preprint repository for almost anything licensed under OpenRockets open source licenses, including Beaver, Kangaroo, and Hummingbird. The repository hosts hundreds of artifacts, including photographs, scientific preprints, new findings, 3D objects, and software codes. Acting as a core part of OpenRockets Press, it ensures that all forms of scientific and creative digital work are accessible to the community.
SCIENTEEN Digital Library
As the world's largest student magazine, OpenRockets Magazine offers a platform for youth organizations. If a nonprofit does not have a publication yet, it can create a magazine using its own branding and logos by signing up. The platform allows student organizations to share articles and community updates on a unified scale.
OpenRockets Magazine
A publishing platform for creators aged 6 to 19 to share original work across art, research, inventions, design, writing, and software. It brings together student publishers, academic journals, hackathons, and showcases into a single publishing workflow. OpenRockets Press maintains a public archive of accepted work, assigning permanent, unique identifiers so young creators can have their work formally referenced and cited.

The Project for Accessible Radio Telescopes was formed by students from Narrabundah College. Their mission is to produce a simple, reliable radio telescope design under $500, capable of recording signals in the 21 cm hydrogen line region. The initiative aims to manufacture and distribute 25 telescopes freely to rural schools, reducing STEM opportunity gaps between metropolitan and remote learning communities.

A global, teen led nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the gender gap in STEM fields. The organization supports girls and non binary students by organizing inclusive, collaborative math competitions and puzzle hunts around the world. By creating these accessible competitive environments, inteGIRLS fosters a supportive, intellectually stimulating community for young problem solvers.

The National Youth Research Journal is a peer reviewed, open access monthly journal of original student research. Welcoming submissions from middle school to medical school, the journal accepts research across every discipline. Topics range from molecular biology and astrophysics to history and economics. The publication aims to give young scholars real experience conducting and publishing rigorous research before college.

SafeTeensOnline is a global nonprofit organization committed to improving online privacy and cybersecurity practices among teenagers. Through peer to peer education, local chapter initiatives, and community outreach, the organization equips students with the necessary skills to navigate the digital world safely. The student led framework ensures cybersecurity education is relatable and accessible to youth everywhere.

A nonprofit organization dedicated to equipping young people with leadership skills and advancing service learning to address community needs. For decades, NYLC has provided resources, programs, and training that support youth in their communities through meaningful service projects. The organization works to bridge the gap between classroom learning and civic engagement.
National Youth Leadership Council
A multi purpose platform solving the problem of youth developed apps vanishing in old hard drives or cloud storage. It provides an intellectual property secured, safe environment for people under 18 to publish web applications, games, and widgets to the community without barriers. The platform also incentivizes creators by redeeming a winner each week and giving away prizes.

A student led organization that recognizes and supports high school students who provide remote, volunteer tutoring. Operating in association with platforms like UPchieve, this chapter supports academic achievers who volunteer their time to help low income middle and high school students succeed academically, promoting educational equity.

A global organization helping high school students explore healthcare, medical research, and advocacy. The organization supports youth in finding their interest in medicine through interactive programs, publishing opportunities, case competitions, and leadership development. The mission is to educate and support the next generation of healthcare professionals.

A nonprofit organization bringing water and the Word to the thirsty, one piece of paper at a time. By creating and selling intricately designed origami art, the organization raises funds to finance clean water and sanitation projects. To date, Paper for Water has successfully funded over 300 water projects in 20 different countries, supporting vulnerable communities worldwide.

Daydream is a worldwide, teen led game jam organized by Hack Club, hosting over 4,000 hackers building games simultaneously in over 100 cities. It invites high schoolers to learn game development using tools like Godot, regardless of prior coding experience. The event provides a weekend of coding, workshops, and food, allowing students to build software they are proud of.
